Compass Errors: Turning Errors

If you're having issues with this portion, here's a different way to look at it, maybe this will help: The compass has a natural affinity for North. Therefore, it's hesitant to leave north and excited to return to North. When you turn away from north, it doesn't want to leave and so it either stays on north or actually turns slightly the other direction from your turn in its attempt to remain on north. When you are turning towards North, it's excited to get back to North so it turns ahead of you and gets to North first. Not sure if that helps to figure these questions out.
